This little campground has been in our family for almost sixty years. Four generations have welcomed visitors here from all over the world. This is a place that we love; deep rooted in history and maritime hospitality. 

Here on the shores of Yankee Cove, you have the opportunity to experience an authentic, active fishing village and the quaint charms of our beloved Nova Scotia. The brightly painted fishing boats come and go with their daily catch and seagulls follow. The sound of the waves washing upon the rocky shore and the light breeze that always blows here, calms even the most restless spirit. The sea sparkles brightly in the sun and the fog mystically rolls in and out.

Come explore our little gravelly beach and see what treasures you can find - a hermit crab hiding beneath the seaweed, sea glass of many colours, worn smooth from the tumbling ocean tides, seashells, periwinkles, or even a starfish. Taste a fresh lobster, try your luck with a hook and line to catch a mackerel, or simply sit quietly on the ocean's edge and enjoy a good book while you breathe in the salty sea air. Here, the sun sets into the sea and ends the days with brilliant colours splashed across the sky. Have a campfire, roast a marshmallow and try to count the stars!
